"Methylene Blue is a synthetic phenothiazine compound (methylthioninium chloride) with a long pharmaceutical history. At low doses it acts as a mitochondrial electron cycler — donating and accepting electrons in the mitochondrial respiratory chain — which supports cellular energy (ATP) production, reduces oxidative stress, and has been investigated for neuroprotective, cognitive, and antimicrobial properties.
